Join us for this in depth exploration of the core muscles. Instead of focusing on the more well known outer abdominal muscles, we will explore the deeper postural muscles in the core of the body. Often developing the outer abdominal muscles starts to resemble wearing a stiff corset that restricts our movement and ultimately our strength as well. The inner postural muscles have an excellent blood supply and are designed to work 24/7. We will work at developing strength by finding the state of “effortless effort”. We will start each session with a short educational segment, then move into a set of gentle exercises designed to increase awareness of inner core postural muscles.

Students will need to bring a yoga mat and ball to class. New students will also be asked to fill in and sign an intake/waiver form.
